Superior Products Formula 4 Spray Wax is the top clear coat finishing sealer for a spot-free rinse. It’s available in 1, 5, 15, 30, and 55-gallon variants. This drying agent is specially formulated to provide maximum protection on Clear Coat finishes and is perfectly designed to be used as the finishing step of your car wash. Deep cleaning foaming agents and polymer waxes combine to create a product to clean and polish the vehicle finish and produce a brilliant shine. Apply to any vehicle exterior after a wash and rinse, then watch the water bead up and fall directly off the car.
For best use, this product should be diluted from 5:1 to 10:1. For commercial car wash service providers, set equipment to apply 6-8 ounces of diluted Formula 4 per vehicle. The product should be applied to a wet surface so spray liberally after washing and rinsing the vehicle. After application, you can rinse again or go in with a water blade or shammy.

Worked very well. I used it as an after wash rinse to avoid water spotting and increase drying time.(as seen on you tube). I got done just as the sun was coming around. I guess I need a way to remove the heavy water first (blower) because when I take a drive to shake off the heavy water, the mineral in the rinse water started to spot. I also need a better application method because a hand sprayer wears you out doing a truck. I tried a pump sprayer but they put out too much of the formula 9 to make it economical. Just a work in process.

I received the items and the product works great. The only reason why I found about superior products was based on fellow YouTube channel that I watch. If it wasn’t for that youtube channel I would have never known about superior. I needed to have more information about the spray wax. The information online and also the catalog was not enough. I left an email to superior and never received a response. Due to not ever receiving a response. I called superior products , and when I called the representative who handled the call seemed to have a very not caring response to the questions I had about the product. also it seemed as if she had an attitude and sounded rude. Very poor customer service experience I’ve had. I rated the review a 2 because the product works. Low rated because of the customer service is just terrible. I would’ve rated as a one, but the product saved it from that rating. Really just due to the fact of the customer service experience over the phone and not being contacted via email to any of my questions. No matter how good superior products may be, I won’t be buying anything else from superior ever again. You could thank customer service. How knows how much business that fellow youtube channel brought to superior, because that video introducing superior was a huge on views and likes. This is my go to when washing my black truck. I enjoy some of the best quality city water in the Great Lakes. But it leaves mineral deposits. Rinse your car, spray a diluted solution on of formula 4 and water, wipe the truck dry. Mirror finish. No spots. And keeps that water bearing on the finish. Again, great job Superior!

I use this to prevent water spots after washing. The Arizona summer heat dries cars way to quickly. I cut it 5:1 or 6:1 with water and put it in a pressurized garden sprayer. Spray on wet car immediately after rinsing. Let sit for 30 seconds to 2 min. Rinse off. Water beads and runs off. Makes drying easier. Great product. Do not expect a high gloss shine like a liquid or paste wax.

This stuff is great to put an easy shine on your vehicle after washing and rinsing… Just spray it on, let it sit for a couple of minutes, quick rinse again, then dry. I also use it to clean the windshield and bugs off the front end and mirrors… 1 to 6 ratio has worked great… going to try 1 to 7 ratio … that is 1 part (ounce) Formula 4 to 7 parts (ounces) distilled water in spray bottle… so 2 ounces per 16 ounce bottle or 4 ounces per 32 ounce bottle mixed with distilled water. You may need more or less depending on how hard the water is your using to wash and rinse. Youtube video of Dallas Paint Correction and Auto Detailing used 1 to 4 ratio… my water isn’t that hard so I started with 1 to 6 and now going to 1 to 7… will go 1 to 8 on up to 10 if possible.

Jury is still out. I bought this to use as a drying aid after vehicle washing. Saw a detailer online claim it nearly eliminated water spots even if vehicle was allowed to dry after washing.
I tried it on my truck with paint that needed attention. I got water spots even after driving to dry on a sunny, low humidity day.
Since then I have compounded the truck and applied Meguiars liquid ceramic. I’ll try again next wash. My goal is to have a decent look with a wash, wax rinse and blow dry with my leaf blower as if I were at a car wash.
The truck is 19 yrs old, only fair paint and sits outside all the time. It just needs to be respectable.
I’ve been using a similar Turtle Wax product on my garage kept car, over top Meguiars ceramic, and it has stayed awesome being towel dried. I expect if I put in the work, it will be just fine and at a better price than TW.

Absolutely a must have for pro detailers and use just before spraying off your contact wash to see the magic of this product and how it just makes the water beed or sheet off fast due to it’s excellent lubricity and will also leave a deep shine all by itself after some light drying or my preference, blowing the water off the surfaces of any car. Do not let dry or use in direct sun for best results. Really the fastest way to dry a car and one would even argue if a DI system is necessary with the speed the water just rolls off the cars.
